The mother of the infant was shot as was the infant. A neighbor who witnessed this event had the decency to take the baby to the hospital. The mother, lying bleeding on the ground, explained that the reason that the father ran away was because both he and the mother had active warrants for their arrest. The mother came along to the hospital with the neighbor, but fled the hospital.
This probably sounds like a cherry-picked case, but it is far from the first time something like this has happened. During the well-known Aurora, Colorado theater shooting from 2012, a Caucasian man abandoned his child and the mother of his child (not legally his wife, also now typical) in a very similar fashion, although in that case, it had nothing to do with active warrants for the arrest of both parents. The leftist media is quick to characterize these sorts of incidents as being the result of a "mental health" crisis and the problem of the parents not protecting their child as being White America's fault as this person ran away because of our "excessive" sentences. Of course, now that marijuana has been legalized in the United States, I do not see how they can continue to make this argument.
Productivity in American workplaces has fallen a great deal, no matter what anyone says, ever since this absurd change in policy. They have people literally going around stoned all of the time and the police are powerless to do anything about it. If it weren't for the indirect effects of damage to shipping routes and Internet infrastructure, Russia would be doing us a favor by nuking Philadelphia and all of our other major cities. This is not hyperbole.
